Magma is out of business. They cannot offer this service any longer.
There are lots of converted molds out there. Wondering what experience people have had as to how they hold up.
I have several sets of Saeco molds from round ball to CF handgun.. Have had no more issues with them than Magma molds.
Lyman molds are an easy conversion if you have the mold arm keys, sprue plate and sprue plate bolt, spring and nut. RCBS and Saeco are a little more involved with the mold arm keys. They run fine on a master caster. I have some of all of them. If you don't have the parts and can't make them yourself you will have to wait until the new Magma down under gets up to speed.

I had no issues.
I have converted Lyman, SAECO and RCBS for my automatic machines and most recently my Master Caster.
Lyman and RCBS are soft, SAECO and H&G are the best.
Magma used SAECO when they started making machines.
I also had an LBT aluminum mold for my Master Caster.
I believe NOE or other custom mold maker will make molds for the Master Caster.
Lyman and RCBS wore where the sprue plate pivots, keeping the area lubricated and minimal tension on the sprue plate screw will reduce the chance of this happening.
I had that happen on the automatic machine making 10s of thousands of boolits, I don’t think it will happen with the low volume on a Master Caster with proper lubrication.
