4.2 grains yields 786 fps with the 230. No signs of pressure, etc. I'm probably safe at 4.5. I'll try that next.

I did call Viht. The fellow I spoke with said he had some old load data in a .pdf format that he'd email me. Funny thing is the data he sent does not contain anything for SL.
I will probably just...
Bumping an old thread to see if anyone has N3SL data for 200 and/or 230 grain cast bullets in 45 Auto. Thank you!

Just on the off chance. Does anyone have Rex 1 data for 9mm? Burn rate indicates it to be Red Dot ish.
I may try 2.5 grains with a 124 and work up from there. But if anyone has some data it...

I loaded a bit of MP240 in 9mm. Gun used is 4.25" commander
4.9 grains with a 124 JHP gave 917 FPS
5.2 grains with 124 gave 1072 FPS
5.5 gave 1120 FPS.
5.5 is maybe showing the smallest...

What about sizing and trimming just enough to get a casing to chamber? I imagine you'd be fractionally close to fully sized / cammed over at that point. But it might be just enough to keep from...

Again, the issue with 7.62x39 to 6 ARC is the case taper. Trying to work a new shoulder into the case that's essentially right on top of the taper is likely going to result in a buckled case. To make...

Look at item 933790347 on gunbroker.

Just a suggestion but I wouldn't trim that short. 1.490" will probably work better. You're going to lose a few thousandths upon firing when the taper is formed out of the case.

6.5 Grendel is about as straightforward as case conversation gets. Full-length size to bump the shoulder then trim. Trim quite a bit, actually. Without some kind of motorized trimmer it would be nigh...

Any updates on forming 7.62x39 to 6mm ARC? Thank you!

Nice. They look like a cast version of the Speer Varminter.

I'd also be curious about a SWC in the Carbine.
With that said, my Plainfield (the Carbine I use/shoot the most because of zero collector value) struggles with anything other...

Still hoping to find a four cavity 311359. One will turn up eventually.

From what I've read, 311410 usually shoots best at about 1,500 fps.

I've received my initial batch of bullets from Rob. These are made with the largest hollowpoint pin in the old and have an average weight of 126 grains. He is using the gas check version of the mold...

As a slight update:
I have exchanged a few emails with Rob regarding his FN cast bullet and its feeding issues. He has just purchased the 311410 inspired mold from MP and is sending me 100 bullets...

What are you running FP bullets in that may be a comparison to an M1?

Is that the same as this bullet?

I was hoping to find someone who is using 31-110JZ. I'm really not wanting to get a mold only to find that the bullet won't feed.
Maybe my best course of action is to locate a four cavity Lyman...

The idea is to coat the bullet, yes. I think coating vs gas check should work particularly well in the M1. Should keep lead concerns to a minimum even at full 30 Carbine velocity and may actually...

Nobody?
What about Accurate in general? Anyone using one of his other molds to cast 30 Carbine bullets?
I like the idea of the flat point but not at the expense of feeding reliability. The...
