Tijunan mexico was the place for tacos, when I was station in San Diego. There was a place in Tijunan called toco bell. As I remember the tocos where corn tortilla some meat from a vertically rotationing spit some pico de gallo and your set. Back then it seems like they were 3 for a dollar and they were great.

Street tacos are great for the community...they provide a dining alternative and significantly reduce the stray feline population. El Camino Meow.

We love Al pastor tacos too! We live south of Owensboro. Do you have any suggestions of a good taco place?

Around here, if your tortilla comes hard, it means there's probably a gringo in the kitchen. jd
It seems that people who do almost nothing, often complain loudly when it's time to do it.

I have enjoyed Mexican food my whole life (75 yrs old now) loved Tacos but alwys had them with beef . Until Saturday ... had Crispy Fish Taco's ...
I know Fish Taco's sounds real weird ... but they were good and I enjoyed them .
I still like a good beef Taco but I will no longer look down on the Fish Taco's .

One of the fish fast food places offer one.
It's one of their battered & fried fish pieces in a taco shell with a bump of lettuce & taco sauce in there.
    It's actually pretty good.

I just went to the Fry Bread House in Phoenix and had a fry bread taco that filled a standard plate. MAN, that was good!
