    Storming, so ,Nanner nut bread

Rolling though a storm system on our way to Houston so no outside work unless it's 100% necessary. Like we break tow or something or the coupling gets super loose. got the inside work
    done for the most part

So finally making some nanner nut bread. Made it once like three hitches back and I haven't heard the end of it since.
"Nugget when we gonna get some banana bread ?"
"Nugget you got all this time to fish but cant make use some banana bread"
"No banana bread ? You really just hate us"
Swear idk who talks my head off more , my Women over this wedding, or these guys when their hungry
Buy yeaaaahhhh nanner bread . Wish I could figure out how to get it to not split down the middle like This but hay it'll eat I guess

Gotta say also, starting to understand why all these baking channels love all the deals where they plop it out of the pan and do the cross section cut. Pretty satisfying. And gotta say even though I don't eat the stuff love how the whole boat smells like it now idk why but fresh baked stuff always seems to put everyone in a good mood...or slightly less irritable.

And not 15min after me waking away the pilot cut a 1/5th of it off and was stuffing it down his throat said it was great and hoped I had more made for everyone else

I love my banana nut bread. I use pecans and raisins. Sometimes, I even add chocolate chips!

Could try covering it for the first 20 minutes in the oven. The steam keeps the crust from getting tough as fast. It helps with sourdough. I've never made banana bread.

    Looks good!!!
I never have figured out how to make it not split - but make it more attractive by scoring the loaf before baking.

The split is just a part of a quick bread...

For fall sub a can of pumpkin for the bananas... good stuff!

Sounds like you have a second calling as a BNBB, aka, a banana nut bread baker. Your bread looks absolutely delicious.

Looks very good. I like it just barely done, almost gooey in the middle. Best eaten while it is still warm with a little cream cheese frosting.
Spell check doesn't work in Chrome, so if something is spelled wrong, it's just a typo that I missed.

I like the recipe from Molly Baz, it’s online.
Browned butter and a little crystalized sugar on top. I sub greek yogurt for lebnah for ease. The rest of the family makes me add chocolate chips to most of the loafs or muffins.
