Never used that much B-Dot have you chronographed it? I shot 16.0 in the 30-06 quite bit when i had a bunch and it did petty well.

You are doing just fine with your english , it is better than some of the graduates from our local public schools .

Keep after the M38 , I really like the rifle myself but I'm waiting to find one that doesn't have a washed out muzzle .

He should be alright with that much BD, depending on his alloy. I use BD quite a bit and I've found a magnum primer tightens up the groups, this finding was verified by Seafire of the accurate reloading forums. I shot a .914", 5 shot, 100 yd group using Nosler 168 j-words out of my .310 groove diameter Krag using 21.4 gr of BD last wk. Velocity average was 2035fps. I use the same charge with the Eagan MX3-30AR and results are about the same. Quickload estimated pressure at around 35000PSI, so he's getting up there for cast boolit loads.

Yup....I'll be there. I am shooting Lee 200's out of my M1917. I was out testing them this morning. Got a 5 inch group at 200 M....of course the group was nowhere near the target but I can fix that
