Brian, no offense, but you'll be very lucky to get the same diameter from another mould and alloy as someone else does. RCBS usually makes a very nice mould and they often drop +.002 above stated diameter with WW alloy, but the individual moulds vary a lot, same with our alloys,
You'll get slightly different diameters with the same mold, same alloy and different temperatures...Ray

The Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook has a chart about different alloys casting diameterer for various calibers (a .44 cal bullet cast of Lyman #2 will be .4XX" while if cast of 20-1 the same mold will cast .4XX"). Books can be pretty handy...
