    Youuuuu bastid.

Do you have them tilted up on nuts, or are those nuts cut in half and welded to the sprue plate, for reasons I can't EVEN fathom.

    LOL, that is funny.

Great find on the molds!!! Every dog has his day in the sun; I'm glad for you and if you don't have a firearm for them you have a good excuse to purchase one now.

    Cell phone rings.

It is a friend and fellow shooter whose job has him all up and down the east coast.

You still looking for H&G molds?

    You know it.

I thought so, well I am in a gun shop here and found one, it looks like a flat nose probably .45 and…

(I cut in)What number is on the side?

    68

That’s a .45 200 grain Simi wadcutter mold. One of the best match bullets out there.

You know that from the number?

    Yeah that’s an easy one.

Well there is another one here it says 130 BB it looks like a 44 though.
Well anyway they are all four cavity and they look in pretty good shape, the 68 may have some slight rust on…

(I cut in again) Ok, how much does he want for um?
He calls out to the owner and I hear some talk going on

He says he wants $25 each

Sweet hoppin horntoads (or something like that) Buy um NOW I don’t care if they don’t have handles at that price..

(His turn to cut in) They do have handles.
Hay, here is another one under these used holsters says 115 .356

Why are you still talking to me? Buy them NOW.

A few days later here they are. 3 four cav molds with handles Total $75

The Dillon rings in the photo are there to level the molds for the photo

nooneimportant, delighted with your luck getting these molds at that price.

In a way though, ya gotta feel just little sorry for the shop owner, its obvious that he had no clue what he had or what they could be worth.

Would I have bought them? In a New York second . . . But in all honesty I would have left the shop feeling guilty.

But I would have left the shop with them.

Would you mind giving your friend MY phone number for his next "find?" (and make sure it's ahead of yours on his contact list).

I feel guilty he didn't have four more.

The 130 shows a bit of abuse. The sprue plate had been opened with a hard object, steal hammer I guess, and it was battered pretty badly on the striking face.

It is bad enough that it will take a (blasphemy) grinder to level it back up.

The cavities on it were slightly rusted on one half. But some kroil and a brush and a few days cleaned them up.
