    Rechambering dies

I have been haveing trouble finding a set of 30 remington dies. I should be able to custom order them but that is big bucks. I was looking around and had seen many threads on rechambering a barrel and started to wonder if you could just ream a set of 30-30 dies besides being rimless, just a differant shell holder, the 30 Rem has a longer body and sharper shoulder. So could you not use a 30 Rem chamber reamer to rechamber a 30-30 sizeing die to 30 Rem? If so where can you rent a chamber reamer.

Reamer Rentals may have the reamer.
Lee and C&H 4D sell blank dies that are not hardened so you can ream them.

I read that a 30-30 die can be used to load the 30 Rem but don't know how good a jab it does. There is a difference in the cases.
If you don't run your loads too hot you could get by with a 30 cal neck size die. I use one to load my 30-30 AI most of the time.

Reloading dies have been case hardened and a standard chamber reamer will not cut them. You would need to anneal the die and then have it case hardened again.
