KY cast boolit shoot?

We seem to be getting lots of members here from KY, Southern IN and TN. It's been a few years since the subject has been discussed, but is anybody interested in getting together for a day or two of cast boolit fun and games?

I'm right in the middle of KY so any place from Hopkinsville/Paducha to Ashland/London would work fine for me. Some place with good room service or even on site primitive camping would be OK.

The last time we tried this we had ZERO interest. Surely there are enough local people here to make this happen. I'd be willing to find a site near here to host it. An hour from I75, 30 min. from intersection of I65, Bluegrass Parkway, Western KY Parkway. Plenty of motels and restaurants in the area.

Sept. or Oct. are probably the best chance for good weather. Could make it Aug. to get it in before school starts, but heat and humidity can be brutal.

I'd be interested, but I need a lot of lead time. The next issue is where to find a range to host a gathering like this. You almost have to be in the E-Town Area to allow everyone in the state reasonable driving access. Even then, I am 3.5 hours from the area. Not an issue for me, but it is for many. PM me if you have any good ideas.

I for sure would be interested. I considered having a meeting here BUT our neighbor hood is filling up and that amount of shooting might get interesting.

I'm in Louisville and while I'd love to participate I doubt I could get away. But I can try!

My husband and I would be interested! We are just northeast of Hopkinsville.

Land Between the Lakes has a nice shooting range and camping areas, but that might be too far for the Eastern KY folks.
