Question for the 480/475 Linebaugh guys

What ammo boxes are you using, I don't want to use the odd count 64 round mtm boxes, thanks, John.

Yeah, I don't know why they didn't just enlarge the boxes.

I honestly am using a 50 cal ammo can. I have that much. I also have some of the odd ball 64's.

Hey Nobade that is a good idea. I was wondering also what boxes to invest in for 475 Linebaugh brass.

    JJ,
It sounds like you're looking for the MTM RSLD-50. MTM lists it as a box for rifle rounds, so they can be a bit difficult to find when searching retailer websites. It's a no-frills 50-round flip-top. Tough and dependable. You can order them at Midway here. Although I'm sure you can find it other places as well. I think I got mine at Natchez.

    best,
    Rod

Frankford 506- says 480 ruger, 475 linebaugh, 50 ae and 500 linebaugh on the bottom. 50 round flip top- smoke and blue colored.

living hinge ^^^^. Never, ever again.

For 460, I use medium rifle boxes, but I think that's gonna be too tall for you.

if the box I linked is too tall, you cut squares of foam with a knife and straight edge and plunk pieces in the bottom to bring the bullet tip up.

Trying to hold a living hinge box open gets real old, real fast.
