    Non-stick parchment paper

Meaning to buy non-stick tin foil, I mistakenly bought non-stick parchment paper. Oh-bugger! Wait a second, it's tested to 425 degrees F. Ok, I gave it a try. It worked beautifully! my coated bullets didn't even try to stick to it. I was careful to set my toaster oven to 400 and timed it to go no more than 10 minutes. The paper turned brown and I'll only use a sheet once and always do it in a fire-safe area. I don't have a thermometer to test my oven, all I know is the 400 degree setting does the job, so it must be close. Also the bullet bases are coated as well.

I have read of some folks using parchment paper and with happy results. I haven't tried it myself, only the non-stick foil. It's the same price at WalMart here though (dime per sq. ft.)

I have baked bullets on the same sheet of parchment paper about 15 times. It just turns dark brown and the bullets always come off. It is getting brittle now, so I guess it's time to replace it.

It's all I use. I use it over and over.

I found it to be vastly superior to non stick aluminum foil. ..which DOES stick (a little). When I used foil, I found the sticking to be improved by letting the batch cool a little before removing them. YMMV...

Use it over and over until it get's really dark and crispy, it works fine multiple times.
