Just bid on several #1s at Rock Island Auctions. All went for $1200 plus. A gun store in Tennessee has two #1s in 243 for $850 each. I haven't seen any #3s sell recently.
You buy'n or sellin?
Freedom in America was not won with a "registered" firearm, nor was it a gift of the ruling class.
Looking at buying, but not to sure yet. Don't need another caliber and I prefer the lines of a #1.
If anyone is interested it's $699.99 at the Acworth, GA Cabelas.
Do a completed auction search on GB.
I probably wouldn't pay over $600, but I haven't priced in a while.
I own a#3 Hornet (not for sale). Last I checked, only the rare Calibers like 30-40 & .44 mag were fetching much.0
bought a couple of #3s in 223 with 75$ scopes one for 500$, other 525$, both 95% six years ago in Midwest. also one in 45-70 as new 450$ same time frame online auction. last one off a web site, was a 22 hornet rebored to 25-35 for 475$. have not bought a #3 since. all in about three month time frame.
Anyone know the best way to mount a scope on a #3 (mine happens to be a 22h)?
Save your money and buy a #1. Much nicer rifle IMHO.
Better yet buy a 77 hornet and "K" it if you want it to shoot, carry's better too....
