    What Lube smokes the most?

    I know it's kind of a weird question but I'm wondering what are some of the lubes that smoke the most. I have been playing around with different compensators on one of my pistols and was thinking I could use a really smokey lube to help see what ports are bleeding gas and if any aren't in slow mo video.

    and put some unique or 231 behind it.
    wait for a calm humid day.
    don't bother putting up a target you won't see it.

    LOL, that was a good laugh that was sorely needed this morning. A 2-gun match my son shot when he first started was a box of 9mm LRN coated with Alox and Power pistol that smoked like mad from both the 9mm carbine and pistol he was shooting. The SO's were trying to fan the smoke away so they could see the targets and so the little guy could shoot. I can't imagine if that had been indoors or a still day.

    The old 50/50 Beeswax/alox mix smokes plenty good in a deep groove bullet.

    Thanks guys i still got some alox around here everything i shoot now is PC'd.

    Cant change powders for the most part as this gun is setup and running 9mm major just think it would be neat to see the gas/smoke through the ports and see how its effects different comps with different loads.

    +1 on RFR's Unique/W231 observation. The old NRA 50-50 with either powder under an H&G 68 in .45 ACP was definitely not an indoor range load for me.

    "PC'd" = Politically Correct(ed)? Kidding!
