right now brass takes no time to dry in the Sun. Gotta be 95*, full Sun and in 15 minutes they'll be too hot to handle.

I do that as well, though here lately they dry in 30 minutes with this heat. I found water spots etc if I just left them alone so a quick tumble cures that.

We've easily got that today in San Antonio. Good thing, I have some brass to clean!

An easy way to avoid dried-on hard water spots on wet tumbled brass is to use an old cotton bath towel. Dump the cases on one end, roll them around a bit by hand, then lift the towel and deposit the batch on the 'dry' end of the towel. That'll keep 'em looking nice & shiny. Been doing them like this since '85 or so. Does not take them too long to dry here in AZ. Weatherman says to expect a dry 117 F this weekend hereabouts. Heading to Weathorford, TX to visit Son's family on July 4th. Recon it'll be a mite more humid there & them! With all the rain lately, they are already complaining about the skeeters this year. Planning to take in the Fort Worth gun show on July 9th.

Bayou52 told us about using the Armor All Wash & Wax soap when tumbling brass over a year ago and I use it in every batch

    Thanks, Bonz -

Hope you're still getting good results using the wash & wax.

Here's a piic of some 45 acp brasses wet tumbled in wash & wax (Blue Coral) just today:
