House Fire

I hang my hat in Central Alberta, Canada a fella 75 years young lives about 20 miles North of Me had a house fire two days ago. He originally come from Iowa a few decades back and brought a bunch of old rifles with him about 300 in his collection from what I was told somewhere between 30 and 40 of them were Original Sharps Rifles that he had picked up when he was in his teen and early twenties. I am still in morning, What a terrible loss to him and the Gun People of North America.

Is he OK? As much as we like them, guns are things. The people in my life are what makes life worth living, I wouldn't care about guns or anything else without them. That collection is a terrible loss, but to me the collector and his knowledge and memories matters much more.

Oh yes the old fella walked out of there in fine shape. He got taken to the hospital and checked out then let go.
That was a god sent he if a very fine old gent.
