I have a couple of questions. One, is there any loading data for Red Dot using a 147gr LSWC? Also, is Accuracy #9 used with any 9mm or .45 loads???

Lee lists RDOT for 147XTP, 3.2 Start to 3.4MAX, but not for a cast bullet that heavy, and that's the only reference I could find. Lots of loads with it for lighter bullets. It looks like one of those powders you can use for it if you have to, but should not expect much from it. You might find more at the Alliant website.

I use surp 820 the mil equlivalent, which uses AA#9 data, again is listed for lighter 9mm bullets, but not heavy ones. It is my powder of choice in my .45ACP's with 220gr cast loads, however. More data can be had at Accurate's site.

Accurate #9 is a slower pistol powder meant for the larger cased rounds like the 357, 41, & 44 magnums. Fast to medium burning rate powder work better for the 9mm, 40, & 45acp. Accurate #5 works great in my 40 S&W's but I haven't used it in 9mm or 45acp yet. Unfortunately it hasn't been available for several months. Many reloaders use Win. 231 and Hodgdon HP-38, Win. WST, and Win. WSF should work well. Hope this helps.

Might be a bit late with this..
I have had great luck with 3.0 gr Bullseye and a 148gr. LRN in 9mm..
Have no idea on speed but is a good paper punching load and I must try it on pins, even though it just might be too light..Should be great on steel..
I like it in 38super also..
