Welcome to GunLoads, Rodda.
No help on 6x45, but I do load 6.5TCU (6.5x45) and .30/223 (7.62x45). I use mostly H335 or its surp equivalent in both. The 6.5 so far likes Sierra 120PH's and 140gr cast (just getting started serious load testing), and the .30 likes Sierra 125PH's and 113 & 150gr cast (this barrel is sub MOA with all three bullets). Both are Contender carbines, the 6.5 a new custom MGM and the .30 a rechambered T/C .300Whisper that I have had for three years. Neither has shot anything except paper yet, but neither is my primary hunting rifle. Eventually I would like to take deer with both of them.

Rodda welcome to the show!

I reload for the 223 and the 6mm but not the 6mm 223. So I probably are not much help to you.

Ken.

Welcome to the forum I shoot 223 but have often thought that necked up to .243 or .257 it would be a great round. I do trim them (.223 cases) down for use with light loads in .351 Winchester Self Load so far so good and they feed better than with a semi rim as originally designed.
