If this should come to pass as I well hope it does, I wil be interested in a goog recomendation for;

Bullet Weight (Best Preformance Copper Jacted No Lead

All Powder Info I'm seeing is one of two H4227 or H110

Of these two powdes the only experiance I had with them was in a Smith&Wesson .460 had a real problem with the powder not ignighting, leaving a partial bullet movent into the bore but only suceeded in a Cylinder lock up. A Real pain in the posterior

Is Case Manufacturers going to be a real issue, as I have access to all brands of once fired Range brass.

All of these loads are using Winchester Brass

According to my reloading book (Hodgdon) they are using Remington 2 1/2 Primers for the following:

180 GR. HDY XTP
210 GR SIE JHP
225 GR SPR JHP
240 GR NOS JHP (Added IMR 4227, and SR 4759 Powder to these
280 GR SFT JHP
300 GR HDY XTP

I'm leanning toward the 225 GR Bullet weight.

Not sure what Pressures the Henry Lever Action can bear, and have no intention of pushing the loads to the max. seen too many good guns ruined by errors.

Has anone of you shot the Hornadt 44 Mag 225 gr FTX Leverevolution ammo, if so how did it preform?
