The Bush administration, after more than seven years, has finally issued
regulations permitting the carrying of firearms in national parks. Gun
owners will soon be able to carry firearms according to the laws of the
state in which the park is located.

It is good to be noticed, but it is my pleasure to do what I can.

Its about time. I live in cougar country and we've had the 4 legged felines in town on several occasions.
The area I like to go in the Olympic national park is well known for being loaded with big cats. I dont like bringing my kids to far out in some of my favorite areas cause I cant bring my gun and dont want to get caught by Barney Fife packing my pistol. The Enforcement officer up there is one of the most unfreindly and rude people to carry a badge I have ever seen. He acts like hes in the getto and treats people like they from the getto when hes working in some of the most beautiful country on the face of the earth. You'd think he'd be happy and freindly!!
Anyway, its about time.
