I just built my first gun----a 4 bore Blunderbuss.
I have shot 4 ounces of shot pellets and even twenty five 38 cal round balls in it.... Yes it is ridiculously fun!!! And now I want to try a single round ball. The bore dia is 1.05. I am think a .995" up to a 1.03" round ball will be satisfactory. BUT, I do NOT want to have to buy a MOLD and pour my own lead round balls at this time. I want to buy some made already. I do not have the stove or setup to cast my own.
Does anyone know anyone who might make me up 25-50 or so large lead round balls??
By the way--I highly recommend a FOUR BORE for those who like a big BOOMER! This gun is very entertaining and if an elephant ever decides to attack my home or garden, I have something to protect my life and property with.... Ya never know. Hahaha
