early rifle#52432,when I got it was a rusty mess,but after cleaning up,the chromeed bore was great shape,but way over size,I cut back barrel to 21.5 in,mounted a red dot scope,still the bolt cleared very well,did not have to bend it,used original stock,which was very chewed up,filled in chips and holes,black spray paint works wonders,piller bed it,and free floated barrel.gun wt is 6-3/4 lbs complete. |

useed Lc69 brass,had old reforming and triming die,use first,then full sized,my neck dia. was.345 this rifle,so when .318 bullet seated,it was .347,reamed inside necks,so that finished dia was .342 to.343,makes easy chambering,my rifle,after firing forming with 10grs of unique,head dia. was.473 to.474,to keep case centered in chamber a thin line of tape was wraped around edge of head,overall dia at back about .478with tape, full loads,are about .4795 when fired.cases were .464 orignaly |
