     GUN DETAILS   This load is for the French DA military revolver model 1873. This is probably the lowest performance military revolver/cartridge ever used. It was never loaded outside of France.
     OTHER DESCRIPTION  Cases can be made from .44 Spl.: trim to .695"; reduce rim (from the front!) as required for smooth cylinder rotation. Use .445-.451 bullets.
