Utah Shootouts June 14, 2009

To all those that have been interested in Utah Shootouts. We will be having another sniper shoot Sept. 12 and 13, 2009. A two day shoot. We will call this one “Western Regional Sniper Shootout”. Same place, North Springs Shooting Range, Price, Utah.

There will be some nice prizes for this match. Starting with the grand prize, a $3000 custom tactical long range rifle. Remington 700, 300 Win Mag. At least the top ten shooters will receive prizes worth at least as much as their entry fee. We are still gathering prizes (and taking donations). Match fee will be $100 per shooter. This includes Dutch Oven Dinner Saturday night. Ribs, cobbler and everything else too. Non-shooter dinners $10 each. Shirts $15 each. Sign up forms are on our website. Registration opened June 1, 2009. Send in your registration as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

We have been working overtime for a month now to bring you a professional match in Sept. with great prizes and a lot of serious fun. A time to test your shooting skills.

This will be a one gun event. Any rifle up to 40 cal. Individually scored. We will be shooting precision paper targets from 50 to 1000 yards. Turning targets in the law enforcement area. Probably some paper, steel and bowling pins over the cliff edge (we have expanded this area a lot since the last match). More information on COF is on our web site.

WE WILL BE HAVING LONG DISTANCE PRECISION MATCHES JULY 11 AND AUGUST 8, 2009. These will cost $15 each. (no lunch included) These will be building up to the Sept Sniper Shoot. You will be able to practice the type of shooting we will be doing in Sept. and we will be refining our skills to make this a great event. On those afternoons there will be side matches you can join in for fun. Pistol, shotgun, .22 rimfire, semi-auto running man etc.
