Default Here's my 2007 archery buck

Here is a picture of my 2007 Nevada Muley. I took him with a bow at about 35yards. He's my first buck with a bow, and to me, that makes him quite special. What makes him more special is that my wife is the one that actually tracked him dowm after I shot him. She tracked him about 500 yards, through heavy woods, at night, without a flashlight! Kinda makes her sound like Superwoman, doesn't it!

Hey, I recognize those shoes!! Thanks for the venison son. Salami was perfect and the steaks went into the crock pot. Tell Superwoman hello for me.

Welcome to the forum bb. Nice looking buck. What do you shoot besides the bow?
If I can see it, I can hit it. Now, where did I put my glasses?

    Hey Versifier,
For Deer (Mule type), I use my M-77 25-06. Been using it for about 33 years now. When just out and about, I use one of my 44-40 revolvers, along with my '73 in the same caliber. For everyday, I carry my Kimber CDP II Ultra in a custom made holster. If I feel old timey, I break out one of my blackpowder guns. If just plinkin' with one of my grandkids, you can't beat one of the .22's that reside in the gunsafe.
Sorry, didn't mean to get long winded, just sometimes, just making the decission on what to shoot can get overwhelming! And don't get me started as to if I am going down to my Dad's house to shoot! It just gets worse from there!

How do you like your 25-06 on deer sized game?
