    Talking shot a great group

    Good evening at the range on thursday,my ruger 30/06 shot a 3/4" 3 shot group at 200 yrds..This rifle has never shot this well,round count is 250rnds ,maybe breaking in? load is,57 grns.h4350 150 grn. Sierra Gameking.I'm going back to shoot again tues afterwork.I'll let ya know if I can repeat it.If I can I'll have to keep it forever..

    Wow, that's a beautiful grouping at that range. Did it take you a while to find that particular load to use?

    Yes , it was quitye a while to get just right. Started with Sierra 125's, guess they were too light. Tried Niosler 150 ballistic tips, they were ok, 1 1/3at 100. Never could get em' to grouop well at 200 tho'. since I'm a hunter I try to shoot a lot. so when the chance comes I don't muff it. I also tried different seating depths, crimping. Only 1 powder tho, just Hodgdon. I'm shooting tomorrow. I hope it wasn't a fluke.
