    Actually I shot him up by nordegg. The farmer gave us a call and said that he had seen some big bulls feeding in his one pasture. So needless to say we went for a drive haha. When we got there we didn't see anything for a few hours, but on the second day we were set up in the far tree line and watched them come out, It was a great experience.........pretty good for a first elk

    Wow, any elk is good, but that one looks fantastic! Congrats! Maybe someday I'll live where I can hunt elk.

    It's Dodge-A-Moose season in New England again. I ought to check and make sure I'm still on F&G's roadkill list. It's amost impossible to get a permit to hunt them in NH with so few permits issued, more get hit by cars, especially right around here. The freezer is getting low.
    If I can see it, I can hit it. Now, where did I put my glasses?

    Here where I am it can take more than 15 years to get a moose tag, its ridiculous.
