Default need to find a stock

My wifes Dad let her take home her Interarms model 65 lever gun in .44 mag. Got it home and set it against the wall to put it in the safe and it fell over and broke.
Really strange. It was barrel up when it fell and the buttstock broke off where it connects to the action. The gun was bone dry dirty and unfired for years. Now I need to find a replacement stock for it. Any leads??

www.e-gunparts.com is the first place I'd look. Midway, Brownells, too.

The rifle is a copy of a Winchester, isn't it? If so, then look for the "parent" stock.

It was almost certainly already cracked and unnoticed. It may have dried out in long storage and/or machine oil may have contributed to weaken it further. The fall just completed the process. Better to have it happen now than right at the start of deer season when there would be no time to find a replacement.
If I can see it, I can hit it. Now, where did I put my glasses?

Have you tried Cabelas or any other gunsmithing shops that might know?

    www.rossiusa.com

Call or Email. The Brazilian company used to send parts all over the world at very good prices when contacted directly.
