Default Hi From Mecosta County, Michigan

I've been hunting since 1966 reloading since 1977 and have always cast bullets on and off. My recent interest in lever actions has prompted a renewed interest in casting for hunting. I plan to cast and hunt with 30-30, 45-70, 35 Rem, and 358 Win.

    Welcome to Gunloads Woody.

Do check out Ranch Dog's moulds - you can link to his website at Cast boolits. They are specially designed for hunting with leverguns, but they work just fine on game no matter what case they're launched out of. I have one of his .35 cal moulds that I use in a .357mag Contender and .35Rem that I love, and I want to add them in .30 and .32 when I can.
If I can see it, I can hit it. Now, where did I put my glasses?

    Thumbs up Hello

    Woody welcome to the forum.
I like the calibers you have for reloading.
I havn't got one of Ranch Dogs moulds but from what I have read here it all pretty much echoes what versifier has told you.
    Good Times Ken

I hear that Ranch Dog is out of the business and isn't taking orders for moulds.
    Correct me if I'm mistaken.
