    Personally, I like the .45 Colt size shot loads, followed by a solid, in a short barrel revolver.

    Although, a .44 Mag casing with bullseye, card wad, #9 shot, and a backward gas check to close it off is a pretty good load out of my Charter 3" .44 Spl Bulldog. Oh, yeah, I follow that with a solid, too.

    After all, there are all kinds of "snakes" around.
