    Question Barnes bullits

I recently loaded up some Barnes 250 gr. XPB bullits for the Pa. deer season. Has anyone ever used these for hunting and if you did how did they perform?

I`ve killed acouple of deer with them loaded in a muzzle loader. I did recover 1 of the bullets from a large buck that was shot at 289 yrds. lazered. ( The deer had already been hit or I would not have shot) The deer was hit in the frount shoulder and the bullet was recovered just under the skin of the off hind quater. It was a picture perfict expantion. Great bullets, the 2 deer that I have hit with them have when no more than a few feet.
