Default .40-90 SS anyone loading for this?

Anyone out there loading for the .40-90 SS c'tridge?
I've come up with a Ruger #3 having been rebarreled to .40-90 SS, and have some loading data for it, the previous owner was using 4198 powder.
If you've some experience with this c'tridge, kindly step up to the plate and visit with me some on it, ok. thanks

    Sir,

I have reloaded this cartridge for my brother. His wife has an orginal Winchester 1885 single shot. First you should slug your bore and make a chamber cast with cerro-safe. There is alot of variation in throat and bore diamentions. If you are shooting cast bullets, I would thry Hodgon 777. Since you have the Ruger, using 4198 seems logical. There is a wide variety of bullets for light 258, 285 to over 400 grains.

When I re-deploy from Afghanistan, I can send information. Load data. com might have data as well as Accurate arms.
