Default Hi from Newtire cast boolit member and old gunloads member

    Hi all

I'm a big fan of most things with wood and metal construction that go bang! My current fascination is in loading for shotguns again where I got started 45 years ago with a Lee hand loader in 12 gauge-only now I'm driving a "Rolls Royce" type loader (Mec 600 Jr.).

I like the little .32-20 & .32 mag. and .256 Winchester and .30-30 Ackley and .257 Ackley and .32 special and .30-06...44 magnum, .444 Marlin. Muzzleloaders of the twiced barreled shootgun variety. Modern cartridge ones too in .410, 20 gauge, 12 gauge and just lately=10 gauge. Almost left out .22 rimfire! That should be a given really anyway.

So, I plan on having fun here and learning new things like I do all the time. "Seems the more I see, the more I see there is to see"=Lovin' Spoonful.

I bought a mec reloader in 1973 in 20 ga. have added a lot since reload .221 fireball,.256 Win Mag, .223 Rem, 20 ga. , 12 , .410 (that would be a caliber even though it is shotgun), 30-06,300 Savage,6mm Rem.,38/357, 45ACP,44 spec. Mag., 30-30,357-44 Brain & Davis,45-70,50-3 1/4 Sharps and I know I am missing some here. I also cast and swage.
My .256 is in a 10 inch contender what gun do you have and what do you use for bullets?
I am in process of making a swage die for making pointed 60 gr bullets for .256 (.257 true dia.) point form part is giving me A headache but I will get it. My gun shoots well but only with light bullets 75 grs. are not accurate and 87 grs. tumble.
