    Default H&r 1873?

I acquired a Harrington & Richardson Model 1873 trapdoor in 45-70. Would like any info anyone could give me on it? Mostly age and value can't seem to find anything on it.

I have an H&R Model 1873 Calvery Model trapdoor in 45-70 with peep sights. I purchased in in 1975. The guy I bought it from said he bought it brand new in the late 60s. The gun has a serial number of SA2409. At a recent gun show, I was offerred $950.00 for it, but did not sell. H&R was sold to Marlin in 2000, but still markets under Harrington and Richardson. They can be shot with modern amunnition, but I would not use the type made for the lever actions.
