    Default 300 RUM - 200 gr. Nosler Accubond Load

    Anyone have any recommended starting loadsfor a 300 RUM using:

    200 gr. Nosler Accubond
    Hodgdon Retumbo

    Welcome to the forum cjb.
    Sierra lists 200gr with H Retumbo:
    Start: 78.6gr @ 2700fps/3238E
    ......... 83.1gr @ 2800/3482
    ......... 87.5gr @ 2900/3735
    MAX is 92.0gr @ 3000/3997
    Test rifle was a Savage m116 with 26' bbl 1x10" twist,
    Rem case & Rem 9.5M primer
    Don't have a Nosler Manual for their suggested OAL, but listed Max OAL 3.600"
