    Welcome to the forum. What kind of gun did you have in mind? Shotgun, rifle, handgun, for target, self-defense, hunting? Are you a new shooter looking for something to learn with? Do you reload and want something loader-friendly? Once we have the "what" figured out, then we need a general idea of where you are located - we have members from around the US and around the world and one of us ought to be able to help you find a local source for whatever you're looking for.

    teresa even age and size has a bearing on the gun that you want.
    most people got or get started with a 22 Rifle of some sort.
    Once you learn the basics of handling the rifle safely and proficently then you move on.
    You may have a ton of experience on the other hand and ready for something bigger.
