    Default Hi all from Australia

I am right in the middle of Aus. If it goes bang I'll have a go. Calibres from 22lr to 47-70.
New project is a 404 Aussie Stalker - 300 WSM necked up to .423. Puts 3 shots into 11/4 at 100 and kills camels like a howitzer!!

    Welcome, Wicky.
What does it do to your shoulder?
If I can see it, I can hit it. Now, where did I put my glasses?

Would have answer quicker but had to find the quick reply icon

When you pull the trigger it lets you know its there. It is a Ruger stainless with their new synthetic stock. I am getting a Hogues overmould for it as soon as finances allow.
The first 20 shots off the bench convinced me to buy a Lead Sled!!
In the field you don't notice it as much, but its still there.
Loads are to roughly equal the 404 Jeffery - about 2100fps. I am going to chrono it tomorrow morning.
