    Default encore 223

    Hi everyone,
    Does anyone have any pet loads or accurracy tips for a .223 in a T.C. encore,Every one says there usally tack drivers but I can't seem to get mine under 3/4 in. or so.
    I have a encore rifle with a 24 in.barrel,any help would be highly appreciated.

    Howdy. I don't have a TC encore. I have a Savage 12fv in 223 and a good load for it is 26.5 grains of Benchmark pushin the 50 gr nosler b-t and it shoots in the .5s consistantly . Thats with BHA match brass and the CCI BR-4 primer. Hope this helps

    Never tryed benchmark I heard its accurate,I think I'll try some thanks.

    Howdy. Varget is good as well ya get a higher velocity with it. They both shot well in the 223 but i liked the benchmark a little better. I use the Varget in my 308 and it shoots superb.
