Ricky P WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND
They are cast bullets with the gas check from a revolver (handgun)
The powder company does not cover 320 grain bullets last I checked.
Hi Ray,
Welcome to Gunloads. In a case where you have published loads for a jacketed bullet and want to shoot a cast one that is slightly heavier, you can go with the published data for safe starting loads.
For a .44mag with 2400 and a 320 cast, Sierra, under 300 jacketed, lists a starting load of 16.7gr @ 900fps and a max of 19.1gr @ 1050fps. Data was compiled with a Ruger SBH.
If I can see it, I can hit it. Now, where did I put my glasses?
