    Default Winchester platinum tips

    Can anybody tell me if the Winchester platinum tip hollow points are available for reloading. I've looked online but can't find anybody who sells just the bullets. Any info would be appreciated thanks

    Welcome to GunLoads, jughead.

    I don't believe they sell them as components. Just like their SilverTip rifle bullets, if you want them you have to buy factory ammo. Too bad because both the pistol and rifle bullets would be really good sellers. Sometimes marketing departments do some really stupid things, and this one has been repeated year after year for longer than I've been reloading. You'd think they would have smartened up over the course of forty or fifty years, wouldn't you?
