    Cool Seasonal

How warm is it in your part of the woods and how far along is your growing season?

The last week we have been above 40F and the snow is pretty much all gone.
Middle of May We should be planting gardens and farmers seeding.

We're about a week farther along than you, mostly. There are still some pockets of deep snow in the woods, but my yard is dry and ready to till. We will put the frost sensitive things like tomatos in the ground in mid to late May, but if I could get the tiller here I could plant peas today if I wanted to push my luck. The robins have been back almost three weeks and the black bears have been out and active at "baiting stations" (peoples' bird feeders) for almost a month.
If I can see it, I can hit it. Now, where did I put my glasses?

Here in southern Alberta it would be very warm if the wind would stop for 5 minutes!
